Hello Halcyon-ites!
My name is Cecilia. I'm a seamstress who runs a clothing company named Deville where I design and sew men's and women's one of kind or custom made shirts, skirts, dresses, suits and more!
A friend of mine told me about Port Halcyon and right from the start I felt at home. I've never done pin-up photographs before, but thought it would be fun since I am such a fan of vintage and pin-up culture.
I have been interested in everything vintage since I was a little girl. I used to look at all of my grandmothers photographs from the 1940s and 1950s and I was in awe at how beautiful they were. Now I collect everything from vintage sewing machines to ladies undergarments, dresses, rhinestone jewelry, hat boxes, gloves—you name it, I most likely have it!
When I'm not dreaming of being back in 1945 or sewing clothing, I'm hanging out with my husband Christopher, and going to rock 'n' roll shows.

To submit your photo......is a piece of cake. Just e-mail your photo and a short bio to pinup@porthalcyon.com and if your photo is as handsome or lovely as the other ladies and gents featured in our gallery, we'll contact you for a short bio and put your winsome visage up on our home page. Photos should be at least 350 pixels wide, and the model and setting should represent vintage or classic style. If requested, the identity of the model will be kept in strictest confidence. We also ask that you have permission from the photographer and/or model to submit the photo to our site. We look forward to hearing from you...and seeing you too! |
