Los Straitjackets - Supersonic Guitars in 3-D
For their seventh album, the mighty, masked Los Straitjackets holed up in a secret San Diego location with the mad scientist of sound, producer Mark Neill to create the 13 terrifying tracks that make up "Supersonic Guitars in 3-D". Rumors of secret Aztec rituals, animal sacrifice, and other unholy alliances are easy to believe when you hear the gargantuan guitar tones & dominating drum sounds that were achieved. Adding to the fun, SSGi3D features guest appearances from Billy Zoom, DJ Bonebrake, Don Fleming and Jon Spencer. And when 3-D glasses are included, you know it's going to be wild. This is the Los Straitjackets record that the fans have been waiting for!

Reverend Horton Heat - Revival
Yep Roc is proud to release Revival, a new studio album by the Reverend Horton Heat. Recorded at Last Beat Studio in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas just a block from where the trio played their first gig back in 1985, Revival is a return to Jim Heath's (aka the Rev) roots - musical and geographical. "I got this new lick called the 'hurricane' and I call back on the hurricane on this album for the sake of keeping things really rockin,'" says Heath. Lyrically, the album's themes "run from death to silly," says Heath, who lost his mother earlier this year. ("Someone in Heaven" is written for her). "Indigo Friends" deals with a friend's heroine addiction, while "Calling in Twisted" is about calling in sick to work. Renowned producer/engineer Ed Stasium is mixing the Revival, which will hit the street June 29. Says Stasium (the lucky devil with the privilege of being the first person to hear the new tracks), “Revival is what real Rock n Roll is all about – raw, stinging emotional output from one of the hardest working touring bands in the world. This is no ‘slaved-over-a-dusty-recording-console-for-a-year album’ here; these guys went in and knocked it out in a week. That's the way heartfelt music should be, not a bunch of over-thought manufactured ultra-produced mush that the major record companies are feeding the punters. The songs are genuine and the tracks are marvelous!

Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys- It's Time
After bursting on the southern California roots revival scene in the late ’80s, Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys have left the rest of the rockabilly/Texas swing wannabes lying flat in the dust with a series of standout records that have explored rockabilly, classic old-time country, hillbilly boogie and more. You may have seen them on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, at the Grand Ole Opry, or on one of their countless treks touring America. "It's Time" is a meaty slab of American roots music that channels the pure sound and energy of the genre's classic recordings. Known for their attention to detail and vintage equipment, Big Sandy & his Flyrite Boys join up with co-producer/L.A. presence Joey (Jump with Joey) Altruda at the classic Electro Vox Studio in Los Angeles. Guests on the album include harmonies by the family group, Lonely Blue Boys. Other guest stars include roots accordionist Chris Gaffney (who's toured with Dave Alvin) and two members of The Blasters (Gene Taylor).

Legendary Shack*Shakers - Believe
"Believe" is a new full-length release traveling directly from the seclusion of the Yep Roc Records warehouse to your soon-to-be-ecstatic ears. But this is not just any ordinary record – this is a triumph of Vaudevillian exuberance melding the rural, agri-dustrial rhythms of Appalachian hoedowns, the intensity of gut-bucket blues, and even the madcap oompah of Polka.

Heavy Trash - Heavy Trash
There is a secret place where even the best-intentioned rockabilly explorations are scarred by dirty guitars, bad dreams, and lust gone wrong...Where murder ballads rub up against filthy R&B and frantic rock'n'roll...Where country ruminations drip with echo and sadness... This is where SPENCER and VERTA-RAY fermented their very souls and gave birth to HEAVY TRASH, the perfect soundtrack for boozy all-night throw downs, pettin' parties and psychedelic fright shows.

John Doe - Forever Hasn't Happend Yet
Co-produced by Doe and Dave Way (Sheryl Crow and Macy Gray), Forever Hasn’t Happened Yet was recorded over a two week period at Way Station studios in Los Angeles, CA. The album contains 11 tracks of original material including the raw elemental blues of “Highway 5,” a duet Doe co-wrote with Exene Cervenka and sings with Neko Case.

Robbie Fulks - Georgia Hard
Over the course of his career, Robbie’s had all the usual labels attached to his music – “Insurgent,” “Retro,” “Alternative,” – but where some artists try to copy old music, Robbie knows it, loves it, and fills his own work with its spirit, its humor, and its otherworldliness. Robbie makes albums that friends hand to friends, insisting that they must check it out.
While most current country music is calculated to form an inoffensive backdrop to the suburban shopping experience, Robbie Fulks writes songs that make you think and feel and quite often laugh out loud. Now, after several years out of the spotlight, he's back with a new album of new songs for a new label. Titled Georgia Hard, it's aimed at country fans who wondered where their music went.

C.C. Adcock - Lafayette Marquis
Lafayette, LA's Charles Adcock, known to all and sundry as C.C., has packed a lot of playing and living into 31 short years, including a major label release (on Island Records, where he was "discovered" by Denny Cordell) nearly a decade back that has since gone on to become a classic in the swamp-rock genre. His long awaited followup takes a leap forward, into a Lafayette where exploding boogie riffs, beat boxes, accordions and hooky pop choruses swirl around in the Louisiana mist. Lafayette Marquis includes the legendary Jack Nitzsche's final production work, two collaborations with Doyle Bramhall II recorded with Dr Dre henchman Mike Elizondo, and plenty of studio wizardry cooked up in Producer Mic Napilitano's (Squirrel Nut Zippers, Joseph Arthur) New Orleans lair. Imagine what would happen if Clifton Chenier WERE Adam Ant.
