Mark Bando made an incredible find when he unearthed 50 color images of the Screaming Eagles taken at Normandy. These photographs, together with firsthand accounts and day-to-day, minute-by-minute history of the 101st Airborne, tell the story of this elite, fighting group. These extremely rare images, with more than 200 previously unpublished archival photographs from the author's own collection, provide a dynamic look at these daring World War II paratroopers.

The History Channel World War II: Battle of Britain Game

Throughout WWII the United States and Great Britain were involved in many "close quarter" air battles against Axis Powers. In order to keep this title historically accurate, there are several battles the player will need to conquer. Each battle will be represented by true-to-life airplanes flown, time of day and topography of the environment.
The overall gameplay is a flight simulation with arcade action. This is the best way to portray the chaos of a dogfight or the thrill in flying in formation during a bombing raid. Utilizing extensive resources from The History Channel, the gameplay will have several additional features to teach the user what really happened over Europe in the early to mid '40s. Some of these features included: radio broadcasts, vintage stock footage, historic photos and actual squadron names.
